A Little About Us
We think of Roby Yorkshire Terriers as a home dedicated
to Yorkshire Terriers. Our main goal is to breed Yorkies
that are healthy and happy in body, mind and spirit.
Since we are not a large kennel, we can breed and raise
our Yorkies exactly the way we want. We feel that
individual attention and lots of interaction with loving
humans is just wonderful for our new babies. It helps
them to bond with humans and enjoy being around them.
Temperament is one of the most important qualities of
any Yorkie. We have sweet little dogs who play well with
others.
Developing a working relationship with new families is
also important to us. We ask our families to send us
updates with pictures of their puppy at least twice a year
so we can follow the progression of each puppy. It is
our hope that this will help us to continue to breed the
most happy, healthy and loving Yorkies.
Every puppy born here is considered our responsibility
and we do our best to be sure each one is safe, healthy
and placed in a loving home with those who will give
them the time, attention, love and care they deserve. If
you cannot keep your puppy for any reason, we will
bring the puppy back to live with us or find a new family
for the puppy.
All our Yorkies are AKC registered. We will only sell
puppies to families and not to any dealers. So, please
don't waste your time if you are a pet shop or if you sell
other people's litters. We only place our puppies and
only to qualified homes.
Our puppies are placed with a contract for the puppy's
protection. Since we are not a large kennel, we have
limited litters. Our puppies tend to be on the small side
but well within the AKC standard. We breed for the
standard and not for size. We do not breed for or
recommend the tiny yorkies for loads of reasons. Just
ask us why.
We require all our puppy parents to commit to sending
pictures at least twice a year and to keeping us informed
of the puppy's progress. And we commit ourselves to be
available to you for the life of your new family member.
We also offer a rebate should you go on to show your
pup to AKC Championship.
